Sales and Administrative Assistant (Kingston, Jamaica) - Aviation Communications Jamaica Limited

Aviation Communications Jamaica Ltd. (Avcom Jamaica) is an information and communications technology service provider, specializing in the development and delivery of optimal business and technology solutions including two-way radio communications, security systems, wireless communications, aeronautical communications, viudeo surveillance and video analytics among others

We are looking for a qualified Sales and Administrative Assistant to join our team and help us achieve our goals. Tou will provide general administrative  and sales support and serve as a point of contact for customers and prospective clients.

Responsibilities:
    • Preparation of documents in response to RFPs, RFQs and general customer requests
    • Represent the company and market products/services to curent and prospective clients
    • Order processing and fulfilment
    • Liaise with clients and suppliers
    • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
    • Maintain and update sales and customer records
    • Develop monthly sales reports
    • Develop administrative reports
    • Manage inventory
    • Stay up-to-date with new products and features
    • Provide after sales support
    • Perform administrative functions
    • Any other related functions as may be required from time to time 
Requirements:
  • Diploma or First degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
  • Certification or training in Marketing, Sales or Customer Service
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator, Sales/Customer Support agent in a customer-centric environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (above average Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills)
  • QuickBooks experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Flkexible and able to work extended hours where required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of end users, managers, C-Levels and technical personnel
  • Take ownership, operate autonomously and demonstrate initiative in problem solving, decision making and proactivbe approach to job
  • Social media savvy
