Administrative Assistant (Kingston, Jamaica)

Prominent company in Kingston seeks competent Administrative Assistant as follows:

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administrative tasks as required
  • Develop and maintain filing system
  • Coordinate, organize, manage and schedule tasks
  • Research, product development, documentation and processing
  • Do procurement and bidding
  • Preparepayroll, statutory deductions, file GCT and Annual Returns
  • Preparing reports as required
  • Other tasks as required
  • From time to time, will be required to work beyond regular office hours

Skills and Competencies:
  • Leadership
  • Organizational
  • Communication: written and verbal
  • Drive for results
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Scope for training,growth and learning with the company
Education, Training and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree required
  2. Administrative or secretarial training or certification a plus
  3. Minimum two to five years within an administrative role
  4. Basic accounting experience with knowledge of Quickbooks preferred
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, and computer technology skills as required
