Inventory Control Manager (Montego Bay, Jamaica) - Fontana Pharmacy




Fontana Pharmacy in Montego Bay, Jamaica is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of:

Inventory Control Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of Inventory Control team, systems and controls across all
retail branches
• Implement processes that will ensure accuracy is maintained in support of the business objectives
• Prompt analysis of variances and engagement of relevant stakeholders to clarify any potential problems
• Ensure accuracy of inventory quantities and costs
• Provide comprehensive feedback and analysis to management re: inventory levels and other KPIs
• Plan, organize and lead regular cycle count exercises and the annual year end stock count
• Manage the inventory transfer process between locations
• Ensure all incoming products are received and managed according to company procedure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management and/or related discipline
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in stock controls and inventory
management.
• Audit and previous retail industry experience would be an asset.
• Minimum qualification ACCA Level II

Purchasing Assistant - KFC & Pizza Hut (Kingston, Jamaica)

Restaurants of Jamaica Limited (ROJ), operators of KFC and Pizza Hut brands, seeks to recruit a Purchasing Assistant to join our Supply Chain Team. The Purchasing Assistant will support the company's purchasing and inventory management functioins and must be able to efficiently perform in a dynamic fast paced and customer-focused environment;

The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and analytical with excellent communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with making purchases and the processing of purchase orders 
  • Monitor orders and delivery to ensure accuracy in quantity and quality of inventory received.
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Maintain procurement records and suppliers' database in keeping with company's standards.
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with the preperation and review of purchasing agreements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain perfect order rates in keeping with company policy.
  • Work collaboratively to track industry trends and make recommendations
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum, an Associate Degree in Business Administration,Logistics, or Purchasing with 2 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using an ERP and ASYCUDA customs systems would be an asset.
